About Me

My name is Chanice and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and I am currently pursing a Masters qualification in this form of therapy. I am a registered member of BACP and I work in accordance with their Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. I also hold trainee membership with UKCP. My therapeutic work is supervised by a UKCP registered supervisor, this is to ensure that I am working in a manner which is professional and safe. I am also covered with professional indemnity insurance for my practice.

I have five years of experience offering emotional support and 1:1 counselling to individuals in need. I have worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist and as a helpline counsellor for charity organisations as well as in the NHS as an Improving Access into Psychological Therapies (IAPT) counsellor. After completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology, I pursued a role as a mental health nursing assistant in a forensic psychiatric hospital. The clinical and counselling skills developed within this role have supported my own development as a Psychotherapist in advanced training. This has enabled me to support individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues as well as other emotional concerns.
